    We had not been in for awhile, so many places so little time. We had a delicious meal. I had the Tile fish and it was great. My wife had the shrimp and scallops and loved it. The bread and the desert are worth the visit alone! The owner came by several times and checked on us, the service was excellent, just as we had remembered. Mustard Seed is definitely back on our radar!!! The plate says it all!

    The restaurant closes at 9:30. I arrived about 8:50. The waitress asked if I wanted soup before my main dish. I said yes. The soup was lukewarm. My main dish was brought out before I had half eaten my soup. It sat on the table for 5 minutes before I ate it. The waitress never check to see if I were satisfied with the meal. She never took away the soup dish or the other extraneous utensils. My main dish was too salty. This was a poor dining experience. Will not return!

    Crazy excellent food! By far, I’d have to say that the #1 contributing factor to the delicious flavors here are the high quality, fresh ingredients. Second to that would be the fantastic combination of flavors and spices. Plenty of options for gluten free, vegetarian and even vegan; and if you’re none of the above, you should order the American burger ASAP! Still working my way through the menu, but other highlights include the seared tuna salad, grilled portobello cap, and the pad Thai. Oh, and if it came down to it, I’d kill for that salt bread or whatever it is! Whether you live in the area, or you’re just passing through, visiting Mustard Seed is a must.

    One of the best sandwiches in town! Not only do they have great food, but the staff is also awesome too.

    The bread at the beginning of the meal is fantastic. I had the pecan chicken and it was wonderful. Great flavor and the green beans were delicious too. For dessert I had the banana cream tart with white chocolate. It was amazing. Friendly service, great prices, I highly recommend and will be back before I leave Charleston.
